India’s IPR Initiatives on World IP Day 2009, New Delhi
Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) organised a seminar on World Intellectual Property Day. The theme was Showcasing India’s IPR initiatives, Achievements and its importance in shaping the nation’s future.
It was held at New Delhi on 26th April 2009

The speakers included those from Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Jubilant Organosys, Department of Science and Technology, CII National Committee of IP Owners.
Maninder of Team 123oye was present and noted the following points:

- Need of IP regime which respects IP

- Hindustan Unilever was granted the highest no. of patents for the year 2007-2008 approx 300
