REHABILITATION COUNCIL OF INDIA is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Social Justice &
Empowerment, Government of India. The Council has been established under the RCI Act and
given the statutory powers to enforce uniform standardization and regulation of all training
policies and programmes in the field of rehabilitation and special education all over the country.
There are 56 Courses (ranging from Certificate to M. Phil level) in the field of Disability
Rehabilitation and Special Education which are recognized by RCI. The Council is conducting an All India Online Aptitude Test for the following three Diploma level courses for admission to the 2012-13 academic
session:
1. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Mental Retardation)
2. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Deaf & Hard of Hearing)
3. Diploma in Education-Special Education (Visual Impairment)
