There was a Panel Discussion: Connectivity – Accelerating Development in the Service Sector
Focus: The Focus of this session will be to discuss solutions and initiatives that are currently being implemented by various organizations especially in area of Connectivity; Healthcare & Education which can help achieve the objective of Bharat Nirman. The panel discussion will also identify areas where there is a need of accelerating efforts across Government, industry and other eco-system partners so that time bound goals can be achieved. The platform will also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn from industry experts the progress and innovation being made to enable inclusive growth.

- Need for good, simple and easy to use technology for the Indian Farmer
- Need for bridging the big Indian Digital Divide
- Technology would unlock the potential of rural India
- Need for high quality of education using broadband
- Broadband has a direct linkage to GDP Growth
- Internet Access – a human right?
- Broadband has different definitions in different countries. To put it simply it is high speed internet connectivity. A broadband in South Korea might not be a broadband in India
- Intel has added 2000 engineers since 2008 in India mainly based in Bangalore.
