Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), a premier Govt. of India National Institution devoted to Academic, Technology & Research programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering, is having 15 extension centres with state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality Control. CIPET offers a blend of specialized Academic programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology and provide technical support to Plastics & Allied Industries. In line with vision stated under National Policy on Petrochemicals , CIPET has upgraded four Centres to High Learning Centres to impart B.Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D. programmes and set up two exclusive R& D hub – ARSTPS & LARPM.
TECHNICAL POSITIONS
1. Post : Chief Manager (Technical) / Associate Professor [Design/Tool Room, CAD/CAM & R&D]
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in relevant field with 9 years experience (or) 2 years Full time M.E,/M.Tech. with 11 years relevant experience out of which 3 years of experience in the Grade pay of 7600/-. Candidates should have acquired first class in both U.G & P.G levels. Experience / Skill sets : Experience in the following areas, namely, Established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge in the field of Product Design/ Finite Element Analysis / Manufacturing
Administrative / Teaching / Research experience in Academic Institutions of repute is preferred
Should have experience in procuring and delivering the results in social / industrial training and research project including liaison with Govt. agencies
Exposure to Shop floor management and relevant qualification in the field would have additional advantage
2.Post :Manager /Asst. Professor [Design/Tool Room, CAD/CAM & R&D] Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Engineering /Technology in relevant field with 5 years experience (or) 2 years Full time M.E,/M.Tech. with 8 years relevant experience out of which 3 years of experience in the Grade pay of 6600/-. Candidates should have acquired first class in both U.G & P.G levels. Experience / Skill sets : Experience in the following areas, namely, Established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge in the field of Product Design/ Finite Element Analysis / Manufacturing

Candidates should have acquired first class in both U.G & P.G levels. Experience / Skill sets : Experience in the following areas, namely, Established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge in the field of Product Design/ Finite Element Analysis / Manufacturing
