CAREER IN ADVERTISING
Creative Team – includes copy writers and the art directors.
No set qualifications for copy writer except to be expert in copy writing. Selection is done through copy tests.
Art Director – A course in communication design or fine arts is required.
Responsible for designing the visuals of the campaign.
Starting salary for both the above teams ranges between Rs.8000-10000 per month.
Client Servicing - comprises officers for liasoning between the client and the creatives to get brief from the client and oversee.
MBA or Masters in Advertising in addition to good communication skills are the must.
During training starting monthly package ranges between Rs.8000-12000.
Account Planning – Appointed as Account Planners, responsible for all the research prior to taking ad campaign.
Analyse the brief, conduct research and interpret data to understand the consumers mood.
A degree in advertising/mass communication or background in research and statistics is the requirement in this field.
Starting salary at the training level is between Rs.7000-13000 per month.
